The Leasing Market July 2021
We feel so blessed that our rental market has not been significantly impacted by COVID-19 and the uncertainty that some regions of Australia are currently experiencing.
Enquiry from prospective tenants is still quite high and for most properties, we are continuing to receive multiple applications of interest.
This of course, doesn’t necessarily mean that rents being achieved will continue to increase at the same rate they have in recent months. In fact, there are a few signs the market may be leveling a little. Nothing too concerning, but the “heat” has seemingly cooled a little for some types of properties. We are paying close attention and as always, will keep you updated as to how any changes may impact you personally.
Our most popular property in July was a 1 bedroom unit located in …. Burnie, attracting 40 enquiries, 30 applications and 4 inspections.
The highest price we achieved for property during July was $370 per week, a modern 3 bed, 2 bath, 1 car unit in Park Grove.
